It was a beautiful snowy weekend! It felt good to see the white crystals pile up and shine magically in the sunlight! I love Colorado snowfalls. They are like the ones in the movies. Pretty and white and shiny. And the snow melts away within a few days because it’s so sunny here. It doesn’t get grey and muddy and piled up in huge nasty snow banks. It’s just pretty and white and oh so magical. Of course it was fun for Nealia to get all bundled up and wear her adorable little hats and jackets and snow suits. I finally got some use out of her car seat blanket. This thing is amazing and helps eliminate bulk in the car seat for safety reasons! Ours is the JJ Cole one and it’s been great so far with keeping her toasty warm and she seems to get all cozy in it.
Anyways, we had an awesome weekend hosting our first party at our new house-hanging out with friends, babes, watching lots of football (ugh!) Playing music and Eating amazing food! We had leftovers frozen of red beans and rice from when my mom and Gma were in town! They were a hit, everyone loved them! Here are some pics from this past snowy week and weekend!
Nealia showing off her spoon handling skills and mastery of her sippy cup haha! She is getting good at holding it and getting it to her mouth and she really insists on feeding herself! She is so grown up!
Little drummer girl! We pulled out her cute drum with instruments in it and she loved exploring all the new things!! She watched me use the drumsticks and then started to copy me that smart little girl! She’s a natural haha! Don’t think she’s has a choice with being into music seeing that mom and dad are both musicians-well moreso dad:)
And a few from this morning’s impromptu photo shoot to give dad a smile at work! Dad picked out and bought this outfit all by himself and it’s adorable! Turquoise is def her color!
